Well... it's back... 29 Faces in 2013...
and Martha has dedicated a brand new blog
to this year's challenge...
to be honest..
I didn't think I would participate this time...
only because I have started working again...
but...
I loved it SO much last year...
and it is wonderful practice as well...
that I decided I would try...
I pulled this journal out to play in...
it is a small A5 size..
and the reason I haven't used it before...
is because the paper is textured...
and I much prefer to paint on a smooth surface...
but we'll see how I go...
already out of my comfort zone...lol
so here is face number one...
I plan to keep it simple this time...
concentrate more on the face...
and little on the background...
there is already a growing list
of lovelies participating...
check out who here...
well gosh...
I guess that means I will be back tomorrow :)
so until then...
Jenny ♥

ReplyDeleteit will be fun to see if you take to the texture of this paper
i enjoy textured paper, though sometimes i put gesso on it... and color under the gesso, mostly for painting purposed and not warping.
also, i hope you enjoy your new job.
