Take pride in how far you've come...
have faith in how far you can go...
but don't forget to enjoy the journey...
.....Michael Josephson
I had fun creating another scrapbook page...
this photo being the inspiration...
Tilly holding Em's hand as she headed into the water...
there was more stitching... inking...
and stamping...
I had been clearing my desk
of all my scrapbook supplies...
of all my scrapbook supplies...
when I wondered
how these photos would look with this paper...
and then of course I couldn't stop...
before I knew it...
the page was finished...
and...
thank you from the bottom of my heart...
for your sweet comments
about my published page...
they were... as always...
beautiful to read...
I have been meaning to blog about the
that was on before Christmas...
I had so hoped to fly to Queensland
to visit the gallery....
but with one thing and another...
it wasn't to be...
And so I was thrilled
and sent emails telling me about it...
that she was surprised by the brightness of color in my work...
and that she liked it better in real life...
so awesome to have feedback...
thank you...
and it was funny because...
most times I tone down the color...
and the brightness...
before I post the photos onto my blog...
but not any more...
from now on...
their true colors will shine through...
and so what did I sell...
Miss Penelope Poppet...
the buyer was from London...
and so Penelope made her first big overseas trip...
Denise did say that one Artist had sold a lot of work...
but a lot hadn't sold any...
so I was super excited when I heard that Miss Penelope
had gone to a new home...
my dear friend Lynne... collected the rest from the gallery...
and soon they will make their way home again...
and most likely into my Etsy Shop...
it was a magical experience...
and I have been asked to exhibit again this year...
which is both encouraging and wonderful...
and something I look forward to very much...
happy week my friends...
Jenny ♥
