Prints, Cards and Pendants...

Your present circumstances don't determine where you can go...
they merely determine where you start
.....Nido Qubein

Well, it seems after posting everyday for a month
with the 29 faces challenge... that I needed a rest...
because I did very little artwork in the following week...
but now I am full speed ahead...
because Jen and I were lucky enough to be
accepted as stall holders once again
it is only held four times a year...
and you need to apply each time...
so we always feel very grateful when we receive the final ok...
the two of us team up under the umbrella of our Pink Possum banner...
where the lovely Jen has just posted a fabulous fabric flower tutorial...
on our (sadly neglected) Pink Possum blog...
they are beautiful... and are the ones she makes as brooches...
and adds to her scrumptious scarves...

and so I have been making some prints in readiness...
this is my newest one...
titled 'Brave'...
and when I sat down to paint the original...
I envisioned a girl walking bravely towards her dreams...
to what she loved... her truth... and her heart...
and in some way the blue hair...
seemed to represent the boldness I was trying to depict...

these words really sum it up...

and I do like how she looks framed...

Penelope Poppet is also now in print form... as well as in a card and pendant...

as is Freya... my birdie girl...

and even Harper made it into card form...

and today I have been busy with some new pendants...

I bought these pendants over a year ago now...
and they have been sitting patiently waiting for me to decide
what to fill them with...
Yesterday... I saw this post from Emily Falconbridge...
about the beautiful sign she gave her brother as a wedding present..
and suddenly it hit me... words...
simple but powerful and profound...
wearable inspiration...

I'm really happy how they turned out...
the glass even seems to magnify them a little...

So I am progressing quite well with stock for the market...
and everything here has also been uploaded into my Etsy Shop...

AND
has commenced this month...
and so that is what I am working on at the moment..
we can upload as from Monday... so I will share with  you then...

Happy Weekend my friends...

  16. Hello, I like your blog. This is a great site and I wanted to post a comment to let you know,
I, myself, liked the fact that wedding dresses use to be any color, not just plain white,
even though they are so many lovely shades of white out there to choose from.
I would of picked a color for my wedding gown.
I would definitely have gone for a wedding dress that had some zing to it, a little……. “hey,
how you doing? Look at me!” kind of
Fort Lauderdale Beach Wedding….. color, yep, that would of been the #1 thing on my list.

well I am presently wearing one of my dresses. They were giving me the gears but I managed to get them done. They are so nice and cool on these hot and humid days and today is one of them.
Thanks for commenting and I hope to post one of my newest faces on canvas in the next day or so.
    Take care girlfriend.

  25. The popularity of designer cheap omega watches has reached its highest peak. People are still buying Coach and Gucci bags even though there is a global popular christmas giftsrecession. Well, the seemingly overwhelming prices of designer discount rolex watches, leather bags and shoulder bags may not be that dramatically overwhelming at all. There are a number of truly great qualities catier bangles of designer handbags that outshine the high prices of such bags. The incredible workmanship womens jackets and beautiful design of fashion handbags are what most people see.
